Cave Tour on the Trattberg
A natural cave on the Trattberg known as the "Feuchter Keller" ("Damp Cellar" in English) promises an exciting adventure.
The entrance to this cave is located close to the car park at the end of the scenic road.
The "Damp Cellar" is a beautiful, interesting and easy-to-walk natural cave amid the Osterhorn mountains.

Since 2015, visitors can now explore the cave led by members of the local cave-rescue service.
Guided tours are offered on weekends from June to October depending on weather conditions.

A tour of the cave, which does include a bit of easy scrambling inside the mountain, is a special experience for big and small.

  • Feuchter-Keller-in-der-Hoeh

After completing this ca. 2-hour cave tour, we suggest making a refreshment stop at one of the nearby mountain huts. A wonderful finishing touch, indeed, to your caving adventure.
